Student organizations are an integral part of the daily life here at the OU College of Pharmacy. Over 75 percent of first-year students are involved in at least one organization. With many different organizations, pharmacy students have the opportunity to become involved, not only in their college, but their community as well. We believe that participation in these student organizations promote leadership, fellowship, and academic success.

Pharmacy student organizations must be officially recognized by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy in order to qualify for student activity fee funds. Formal recognition requires that the organization meets the following requirements:

• Has goals and activities consistent with those of the College;
• Maintains its funds in a University account;
• Maintains a copy of the national and local constitution and by-laws on file in the Dean’s Office and adheres to these in all activities; and
• Adherence to Regents', University, and College policy regarding student organizations.
