Why OU? In addition to the extensive opportunities in my areas of interest, I loved the emphasis on work-life balance and a positive work culture. Everyone is family here and that really stood out during the interview!
Future Job Interest: I plan to pursue a PGY2 in Infectious Diseases and become a clinical specialist!
Advice: Find great mentors and soak up as many ideas as you can - keep what resonates with you!

Why OU? I chose OU because of how I felt on my in-person interview. The preceptors and RPD were so nice and made me feel very relaxed. It was like I was talking to friends I had known forever. I also wanted to be a little closer to home and OU just fit all the boxes.
Future Job Interest: I love both Trauma and the ED but honestly I could see myself doing a little bit of everything critical care.
Advice: Find ways to take care of yourself and make those things habits and routines now not later!

Why OU? I chose to pursue my PGY2 in Internal Medicine at OU because I wanted to advance my clinical skills and knowledge through the numerous rotations and clinical experiences they have to offer. I was also drawn to the opportunity to precept and work closely with current OU pharmacy students.
Future Job Interest: I am interested in working as an Internal Medicine clinical specialist, but I also enjoy Emergency Medicine and Transitions of Care.
Advice: Spend your free time doing the things that fill your cup and never be afraid to ask for help. Your co-residents and preceptors are there to support you!
