P4 Student Stephanie Shaw Recognized at AACP Annual Meeting

Congratulations to P4 student Stephanie Shaw for completing the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Aspiring Academics.   The AACP Aspiring Academics program is designed to inform and inspire students who are interested in pursuing an academic pharmacy career. Through asynchronous learning modules, mentorship, networking, a group project, involvement with AACP, and attendance at the AACP Annual Meeting and Teachers’ Seminar, the AACP’s Aspiring Academics program aims to facilitate a deeper understanding of career paths in academic pharmacy. 

Stephanie is perusing the pediatric degree option and was recognized at the recent AACP Annual Meeting.  “Stephanie is a bright and motivated student that has been working with us for several years on research projects.  It has been a joy to mentor her and see her growth, she will be an outstanding pediatric pharmacist in the future”, says, Dr. Pete Johnson, Professor and Director of the Pediatric Pharmacotherapy Degree Option at the College.
