Welcome to the University Of Oklahoma College Of Pharmacy Alumni Affairs Association home page! It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the president for the 2012-2013 year of the Pharmacy Alumni Affairs Association.
We all should take pride in the college and remember fondly the friendships and relationships we made in our college days. Take the opportunity to reunite with old friends who did the all-nighters with you for Med-Chem, pharmaceutics, and many other classes. Over the next year we will have continuing education opportunities in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa, and please be sure to submit your “friend” request to be a part of the OU College of Pharmacy Facebook page. What a wonderful opportunity this is to keep up with college friends and even faculty! I would also love to see you at the October 20 pregame celebration in Norman. Be sure to buy some College of Pharmacy Alumni gear to show your pharmacy “Sooner” pride as we beat the Kansas Jayhawks on our way to winning another Big 12 Championship.
Make plans for the Alumni Celebration at the Skirvin Hotel in March 2013. It is a truly elegant event where we can get together and honor our alumni and their accomplishments. Please send us news and let us know what you are doing now.
I would be remiss if I did not mention that the Mortar and Pestle Society could use your support to help the ongoing mission of the college in providing the best educational experience possible. I think we, as alumni association members, can together raise$100,000 this year to help provide services to our students and college. It takes teamwork! We are part of an incredible history that spans from the very first graduate Lemuel Dorrance in1896 to this year’s graduating class in 2013 and our best days are ahead. Remember, there will always only be one Oklahoma!!!
