Registration is now open for the APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Administration by Pharmacy Technicians training program!
This College of Pharmacy continuing pharmacy education (CPE) course emphasizes collaboration between pharmacists and technicians, seeking to improve population health by increasing immunization rates in states that allow technicians to immunize.
It's comprised of two hours of online self-study and a four-hour live seminar/webinar that teaches hands-on immunization techniques.
Self-Study (2 hours) To be completed on your own by 9/19/25
Live Session (3 hours) 9/20/25, 8:00-11:00 am at OU College of Pharmacy or Remote via Zoom (link to be provided)
Injection Technique Assessment (1 hour) 9/20/25 following the live session at the OU College of Pharmacy or if remote, assessed at the technician’s workplace by a supervising pharmacist with an immunization permit
