Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD Candidate and Associate Professor Receive Travel Awards

Vikram Aditya, a Ph.D. candidate in Dr. Wei Yue’s laboratory in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences has received a Travel Award from the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) to attend and present his research at the 2026 ASPET Annual Meeting (May 17–20, Minneapolis, MN). This NIH-funded research focuses on the regulation of the hepatic drug transporter OATP1B1, with an emphasis on post-translational mechanisms relevant to drug disposition and drug–drug interactions.

 

Dr. Wei Yue, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences has received the Support Our Scientists Travel Award from the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) to attend and present her NIH-funded research at the 2026 ASPET Annual Meeting.
