OUCOP Members Honored

At the Oklahoma Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting in August, two members of the OU College of Pharmacy community were honored with prestigious awards.

We’re thrilled to celebrate Dr. Katherine S. O’Neal, Professor and Sam K. Viersen Family Foundation Presidential Professor, as the recipient of the Excellence in Innovation Award. This honor recognizes her exceptional and creative efforts to improve pharmacy practices, advance patient care, and push the profession forward here in Oklahoma.

We also proudly recognize OU COP alum Doug Hoey, RPh, MBA, CEO of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), who received the prestigious Bowl of Hygeia Award for his outstanding civic leadership and service to the pharmacy profession and his community.
