Eric Johnson Earns Coveted Award

OSCPA Board of Directors Chair-Elect Ross McKinney, CPA, and OSCPA Chair Vicky Petete, CPA, CGMA, presents the Accounting Hall of Fame Award to Eric J. Johnson, CPA (middle).

On August 24, the Oklahoma Society of CPA recognized its 2023 Accounting Hall of Fame inductee, Eric J. Johnson, CPA at its annual award ceremony. His selection was spearheaded by a secret nominating committee of prior recipients of this award. The selection criteria are what the individual has contributed to the Society and the accounting profession in the State of Oklahoma.  His service included a year as Chairman of the OSCPA.

Johnson said, “After receiving the coveted CPA designation, it was just natural to be involved in the CPA society at different levels as they were such a welcoming group of individuals.  I appreciated the opportunity to be mentored and then later to mentor others.  While it’s not something I expected, I was honored with the induction as the latest member of the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s Hall of Fame.”
