Doctor of Pharmacy Program > Why Study at OUHSC College of Pharmacy?

CampusPharmacy was the first professional program at The University of Oklahoma and, since 1896, the College of Pharmacy has had more than 5,300 graduates. The College offers the Doctor of Pharmacy professional degree program and graduate programs in the Pharmaceutical Sciences, leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.

The College of Pharmacy is part of The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, one of four comprehensive health sciences centers in the United States. It oversees the only nationally certified Poison Control Center in Oklahoma. It contains an on-site nuclear pharmacy at its Oklahoma City location.

Faculty research in cancer, diabetes, neurosciences and infectious diseases allow a number of opportunities for student enrichment.
