Graduate education in Pharmacy Administration involves four strategic areas related to healthcare and pharmacy: the economics of pharmaceuticals and other health interventions; the marketing of pharmaceuticals and pharmacy services; the management of healthcare resources; and the psychosocial and behavioral aspects of the medication use process. Research in this area is grounded in the fields of health economics, marketing, and the social and behavioral sciences. This is an interdisciplinary program utilizing the resources of the College of Public Health and the College of Business in addition to the College of Pharmacy. Three programs of study are available, Ph.D., M.S., and a dual degree Pharm.D./M.S.
