College of Pharmacy Policies and Procedures Home Page	The College of Pharmacy Policies and Procedures Manual offers a central repository of important information and links to numerous policy resources. (Login required) The College’s Policies and Procedures Manual, Functional Organizational Chart, Faculty Promotions and Tenure Policies, and other useful documents can be accessed from the Policies and Procedures Home Page.

Directories	The University of Oklahoma maintains phone directories for each of their major campuses: OU-Norman, OU Health Sciences Center, and OU-Tulsa.

Faculty Handbook	The University of Oklahoma Faculty Handbook offers a wide range of information and policies for faculty members.
Faculty Senate	The Health Sciences Center Faculty Senate is composed of members of the Regular Faculty of the Health Sciences Center. The purpose of the Faculty Senate is to: Help define and protect the rights of faculty members. Support the faculty in implementing the University functions of teaching, research and scholarly activity, and Develop, recommend and implement policies for the Health Sciences Center and the University in matters relating to the instruction of students, and the conduct of research, and scholarly activity, and the provision of services in any matters affecting the welfare of the Health Sciences Center; Promote collaborative effort within and among faculty, professions, and colleges; and Respect the rights and jurisdictions of the individual Colleges in the Health Sciences Center.

Healthy Sooners	Healthy Sooners is an on-site employee wellness program that enables faculty and staff to participate in health-enhancing activities while here on campus. The intent of Healthy Sooners is to foster lifestyle choices which support good and improved health among our employees by providing health and wellness opportunities. Activities range from health promotion and educational programs to physical fitness classes. The program is currently administered by the University Health Club.
Information Technology	Oklahoma City Primary responsibility for College of Pharmacy computer, audio-visual, and website support rests with the College of Pharmacy’s Office of Finance and Technology. The OUHSC Information Technology department has additional resources available which may also be useful. Tulsa The OU-Tulsa Information Technology Department provides support for the network, servers, desktop computers, telecommunications systems (including voicemail), classroom technology and computer labs on the Schusterman Center campus as well as the remote sites for the College of Medicine-Tulsa. Support can be accessed from the IT website or by calling the HELP DESK at (918) 660-3550.
Leave and Holidays	The annual schedule of paid holidays and leave accrual rates are maintained on the Human Resources website.
Library	The Robert M. Bird Health Sciences Library is a designated resource in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine and open to all who need to use its collections. Additionally, many resources are available online through the library’s website.
OneCard	Your University identification card does more than just show your pretty face. The Sooner OneCard acts as a library card, provides door access and entrance to special events, and acts as a debit card wherever the Sooner Sense logo is displayed. Visit their website to learn more about the features and benefits of the OneCard.
OU Employee Discount Program	University of Oklahoma employees can receive discounts from a wide variety of local and national businesses. From pest control to jet charters; your OU employment can save you money.
OUHSC Overview	The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is the only comprehensive academic health center in Oklahoma training physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, public health specialists, allied health personnel and research scientists. The campus is home to seven colleges, all within walking distance of each other. Intermingled among the colleges are OU Physicians, OU MEDICAL CENTER, Dean McGee Eye Institute, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma State Department of Health, the Veteran's Hospital and numerous other health related entities.
Parking	All student and employee vehicles must be registered with the OU Parking & Transportation Service. Information regarding parking regulations and fees can be found at their website.
Pay	The College of Pharmacy Payroll Coordinator is you primary point of contact for questions regarding pay and records. Additionally, the University maintains information related to compensation guidelines, job titles and descriptions, the University salary plan and links to helpful sites within the OUHSC Human Resources website.
Phones	To make an on-campus call within the 271 exchange, dial the 5 digit extension (example: 271#-#### or x#####). To make an off-campus or long distance call, you must first dial a 9. Long-distance calls are allowed for business purposes only and require a personal authorization code, which will be obtained for you by your department representative. There is also a Health Sciences Center operator available at x14000, who can assist with obtaining phone numbers of people and departments on campus.
Security	Oklahoma City The University of Oklahoma Police Department provides year round, 24 hour per day service to the OUHSC campus and surrounding community. The OU Police Department website provides many useful links and tips for crime prevention, personal safety, and first aid, as well as providing access to sign up for the University’s Emergency Communications System. Staff Handbook	The University of Oklahoma Staff Handbook offers a wide range of information and policies for staff members.
Staff Senate	The Staff Senate is the employee liaison group representing the more than 2,600 OUHSC staff and is comprised of members from designated groups on campus. The purpose of the Staff Senate is to: Serve as a representative body of the staff employees of The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Aid in the exchange of information between the University and its staff employees. Function for the welfare of the university and to foster a spirit of unity and cooperation among all staff employees of the University. Function as an advisory body to study and make recommendations to the President through the Provost on such policy matters as may directly affect staff employees.
University Required Training	The University of Oklahoma requires all employees to complete required training. The Required Training website identifies the necessary training, initial timeframe to complete, and ongoing training requirements.
