  • Request from the Surgeon General and Will Lang at AACP - an Advocacy Opportunity. The Office of the Surgeon General published a request for information (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2012-04-05/html/2012-8179.htm) in the April 5, 2012 edition of the Federal Register. The Office seeks info regarding the barriers to and strategies to address prescription medication adherence. Because the comments are limited to 500 words, AACP encourages response to the request with your top 2-3 barriers and your top 2-3 strategies to overcome the barriers. Please copy Will Lang on any submission (wlang@aacp.org).
  • Upcoming SBIR/STTR Workshop Sponsored by OCAST. In Dec. 20122, the SBIR/STTR program was reauthorized through 2017. This workshop in August (in Tulsa) will provide a concise overview of the reauthorization implications for the program and discuss the implications for proposal strategy and preparation.
