About the lecturePatient Safety and Professional Ethos" "In this examination of the ethical implications of pharmaceutical care, Henri Manasse, Jr., Ph.D., Sc.D., puts a spotlight on the diverse obligations health-system pharmacists have to patient safety. What are the aspects of a pharmacists' covenant of care with patients and how can those covenants be kept in an age of reduced budgets and expanded job responsibilities? Manasse also examines safety systems from other industries that may provide good models for pharmacists as they work toward providing the most effective, safest medication therapies for patients."
