A 1969 graduate of The University of Oklahoma, College of Pharmacy, McFall started his professional career in Shawnee, Oklahoma as a staff pharmacist at Shawnee Medical Center Pharmacy. He became part owner of McFall Drug in Frederick, Oklahoma in 1970-72 and later became the full owner. Mr. McFall previously owned two other pharmacies in Salt Lake City, Utah, and McFall Crescent Drug in Frederick, Oklahoma. Ed recently sold his pharmacy in Frederick. As well as holding ownership in successful pharmacies, Ed holds certifications in Inhalation Therapy Education, Diabetes Education and Injection Therapy.

Being active in pharmacy and pharmacy leadership has been a consistent characteristic for Mr. McFall, starting as president of the Sooner Pharmaceutical Association in 1968-69 at The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. After graduation he was awarded the Outstanding Young Business Man in Oklahoma , chosen to participate in a three-month group study exchange program of pharmacy and medicine in England , and awarded a grant by Rotary International.

He has served on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma and Utah Pharmaceutical Associations as well as President of the Utah Pharmaceutical Association. He also served as member of the Board of Trustees of Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Oklahoma, President of Region Six, Oklahoma Pharmacist Association, and Chair of the Rural Health Planning Committee. McFall served as President of the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy in 1992. He was appointed to the Oklahoma Health Care Commission in 1992 and attended The White House Conference on Health Care. Currently McFall serves as Chair of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board during his third term on the Board. McFall has been recognized by his peers as the recipient of the 2001 Bowl of Hygeia Award and awarded the Merck Award for Community Pharmacy. In addition Ed serves as an elder of the First Presbyterian Church.

Ed and his wife Rose Anna, have two children (Kara and Clayton) and two grandchildren (Katrina and Kyle). Ed October 30, 2007 ng, and RV travel. He especially enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

McFall is truly a role model for all pharmacists and an esteemed friend of the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy.
