Misty Miller, Pharm.D.

Pediatric Appetite Stimulation

Misty Miller is conducting her PGY-2 residency, specializing in pediatrics. Her research project this year will compare the effectiveness of appetite stimulants in pediatric oncology patients. She will work with her residency director, Tracy Hagemann, Pharm.D..

She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2009, and recently completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency, also with the University of Oklahoma. For her PGY1 research project, Misty worked with Peter N. Johnson, Pharm.D., BCPS to evaluate vancomycin dosing in overweight and obese children. Misty is originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Upon completion of her post-graduate residency training, Misty plans to pursue a clinical faculty appointment within a college of pharmacy or work as a pediatric clinical specialist.
