Emily Gish, Pharm.D.

Pediatric Dosing

Emily Gish, Pharm.D. currently serves as a pediatric resident (PGY-2) at OU College of Pharmacy. She recently finished her first year residency (PGY-1) in pharmacy at OU College of Pharmacy as well. Working closely with her residency director, Tracy Hagemann, Pharm.D., and Peter N. Johnson, Pharm.D., BCPS, Emily is evaluating the appropriateness of vancomycin dosing in cardiothoracic surgery pediatric patients at the Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center.

Originally from Yakima, WA, Emily is an alumna of Washington State University where she received both her B.S. degree in biological science in 2006 and Pharm.D. in 2008.

Upon completion of her post-graduate residency training, Emily plans to pursue a clinical faculty appointment within a college of pharmacy or to work as a pediatric clinical specialist.
