- Develop a didactic elective course in geriatrics for pharmacy students.
- Develop geriatric rotations for pharmacy students in collaboration with The Donald W. Reynolds Department of Geriatric Medicine in interdisciplinary team development in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
- Integrate relevant geriatric material thoughout the curriculum through faculty training activities.
- Develop a specialty practice residency program and fellowship program for recent pharmacy graduates.
- Develop a training program for practicing pharmacists in the area of geriatrics with the ultimate intent being that those pharmacists engaged in such training would take and pass the exam leading to Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy (CGP).
- Engage in multidisciplinary education activities as part of the Oklahoma Geriatric Education Center and the Donald W. Reynolds Department of Geriatric Medicine to improve geriatric pharmacotherapy knowledge amongst their constituents.
- Provide medication therapy management services for seniors.
- Provide medication education for seniors through our “Using Medications Safely” lecture series.
