Clinical Pharmacology Services
Services

Services are provided to the developmentally disabled residing in a variety of locations. These services may be extended to staff, professional providers, team members, Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD) nurses, case managers and healthcare coordinators. The intended focus audience is the developmentally disabled.

Among services provided, the following are included through contractual relations with the DDSD:

1. Medication Review for:

  • Polypharmacy issues
  • Drug-drug interactions
  • Drug-food interactions
  • Drug-disease state concerns
  • Medication efficacy
  • Medication use as a component of a behavior support plan

2. Drug information to community and institutional providers
