Charles, "Chuck," Jones was born in Enid, OK, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology degree from The University of Oklahoma in 1986 and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 1991. As a pharmacy student, he was a member of Phi Delta Chi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and the Phi Lambda Sigma Honor Society. As a licensed pharmacist, Chuck has been a member of the Oklahoma Pharmacists Association.

Following graduation from the College of Pharmacy, Chuck became part owner of McLoud Discount Drug where he practiced pharmacy until 1995. Starting in 1995, Chuck worked as a pharmacist for Wal-Mart where he became a district manager and served the corporation as the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Wal-Mart Liaison. As Wal-Mart District Manager, Chuck was routinely involved in recruitment and participated regularly in Pharmacy Career Day sponsored by The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy and Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy. He served as adjunct faculty member for The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy program and as preceptor for several pharmacy students. In 2000, Chuck was named the Wal-Mart District Manager of the Year. In October, 2000, Chuck received a well-deserved promotion to Regional Manager at the Wal-Mart Corporation and will be based at corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Chuck and his wife Kathy, a 1988 graduate of The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy, have two daughters, Alexa and Mallory, and one son, Zachary.
