Winter Smith, Pharm.D., BCPS is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy and a clinical pharmacist at OU Medical Center Presbyterian Tower. She is a 2003 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy.

Winter completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas and a PGY-2 specialty pharmacy residency in internal medicine, infectious diseases, and academia at Duke Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

In clinical practice, Winter works with the internal medicine service at Presbyterian Tower to ensure safe and effective medication therapy is provided to hospitalized patients. She also teaches and mentors pharmacy students and residents. Her clinical and educational research interests include infectious diseases, management of chronic diseases in hospitalized patients, and factors that contribute to the success of high-achieving pharmacy students.

Winter is involved in several community organizations where one of her focuses is health care access and education in underrepresented minority populations.
