
Robert Hiss graduated from The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 1973. He started working at Wheeler & Stuckey Prescription Shops in 1970 as an extern, took a position as store manager upon graduation, and became an owner in 1983. After selling his ownership in the four store chain to his partner in 1998, Bob started practicing pharmacy in his current position at United Discount Pharmacy in Oklahoma City. Bob, with his partner Tim Anderson, have recently started a consulting business working with small specialty hospitals. Bob is a member and past president of the Oklahoma County Pharmacists Association. He is also past president of The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy Alumni Association and current chairman of the organization's Alumni Affairs Board. He has been a preceptor for Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy and has received their Preceptor of the Year Award. Bob is a member and immediate past president of the Board of Directors of the Presbyterian Urban Mission and sits on the board of directors of the Oklahoma City Ostomy Association. As a member of the North Oklahoma City Rotary Club, he was named Rotarian of the Year. Bob and his wife, Brenda, have two children. Their son Casey is a freshman at The University of Oklahoma in Norman and daughter Sophie is a freshman at Putnam City North High School. |
