Specialized Training

We offer personalized training for anyone interested in special services outside of (or possibly in addition to) those offered in the group environment. We have found that many individuals benefit more through one-on-one training where they have the ability to work on specific items related to their own needs or classes. For example, several faculty are working to move lecture material from 35mm slides to a format that can be used in the distance education classroom or the more technologically advanced classrooms. A one-on-one training session for this purpose might include learning how to scan 35mm slides, format them and incorporate them into a PowerPoint presentation.

Group Training/Workshops

We offer a variety of workshops for both our faculty and students as well as customize workshops depending on the needs of the College.

Workshops that are available include:

  • Techniques for improving teaching

Online Tutorials and Information

We understand that many faculty and students do not have time to sit through a session with a trainer. For this reason, we have designed the following online tutorials or information packets to help you advance your skills and experience in various areas related to the instructional environment.
