The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy is organized as a part of and subject to the policies and procedures governing The University of Oklahoma in Norman, The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, and The Schusterman Center in Tulsa. The Dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the college and reports to the Senior Vice President and Provost of the Health Sciences Center. The Dean provides leadership, coordination of activities, and administrative support to the college programs.
Teaching, research, and service activities are conducted primarily through three academic departments namely; Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Department of Pharmacy: Clinical and Administrative Sciences - OKC and Tulsa, and several pharmacy service units that support the mission of the College.
The College of Pharmacy Executive Council, which includes the dean, associate and assistant deans, department chairs, directors, elected faculty members and the president of the Student Council, serves as an advisory body to the dean. The Council is a source of input into administrative decision making, to facilitate cooperation among the departments, and to maintain accountability within the College.
