Board Member's Profile

After starting work for Scott & White Prescription Services upon graduation in 1995, Jeff progressed through the ranks and is now Coordinator of Clinical Services. The parent organization, Scott & White Health System, is a non-profit integrated delivery system consisting of a 170,000 member health plan, a clinic employing over 500 physicians (with 19 regional clinic sites located throughout central Texas), and a hospital licensed for 650 beds.

Jeff's duties at Scott & White include formulary development and management, prescription benefit design, coordination of drug therapy interchange programs, as well as development and implementation of educational programs and communication vehicles. Additionally he is involved with pharmacoeconomic and outcome analysis, development of drug therapy protocols, guidelines, and treatment algorithms, disease state management programs, clinical sales & marketing presentations, and participation in all functions of P & T committee activities.

Jeff is also the Director of Pharmacy for Cedar Crest Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital. This position is affiliated with PharmCo Consulting Services that he formed last year. Through this entity, he is involved in pharmacy consulting and provides pharmacy relief services.

Jeff is currently a student in the Alternative Pathway to the Doctor of Pharmacy degree program, provided by a joint effort of Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy and The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy.

Jeff is a member of the Bell County Pharmacy Association, the Texas Pharmacists Association, the American Pharmaceutical Association, and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. He is a board member of the Belton Christian Academy, serves in his daughter's P.T.A., and is a member of the First Baptist Church of Belton.

His wife, Paige, taught in the Belton School System and is now providing full-time support to children Abby Caroline (5 years) and Blake Jefferson (2 years).
